A New York native, Dr. Shoham is a graduate of Boston University College of Liberal Arts and Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training at Montefiore Hospital in New York and McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Shoham is a Fellow of the Canadian Royal College of Physicians. He established his solo practice in 1978, which has grown to become the current Gastrointestinal Medicine Assoiciates, P.C. He currently resides in Vienna, VA with his wife, Andrea. His daughter Lauren lives in Los Angeles, CA and works for William Morris Agency. |

Dr Fischer received an undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York City in 1971 and a medical degree from Georgetown University in 1975. He performed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland in 1982. His interests include functional disorders of the digestive tract, including dysphagia, reflux and irritable bowel syndrome. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Chief of the Gastroenterology Division at INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital and has been a Gastroenterology consultant to NVTC for more than a decade. He currently resides in Great Falls, VA with his wife, Felicitas, and daughter Tosca. |

A Virginia native, Dr. Blosser is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he excelled on the football team. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. He performed his residency and fellowship training at Georgetown University, where he has also been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. He has served as Chief of the Gastroenterology Division at Fair Oaks Hospital. Dr. Blosser's practice interests include biliary disorders and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He has two daughters, Natalie and Isabella. |

Dr. Shah grew up in Chantilly, VA and attended Chantilly High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. Following his residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Maryland Medical School in Baltimore, Dr. Shah joined Gastrointestinal Medicine Associates, P.C. in 1999. Dr. Shah has a special interest in liver disorders. He currently resides in Fairfax, VA with his wife Christina. |

Dr. Aziz graduated from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center where he also served as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Fletcher Allen Health Center at the University of Vermont. Dr. Aziz then pursued an Advanced Fellowship in Hepatology, Liver Transplantation and Therapeutic Endoscopy at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School. Prior to coming to Virginia he worked at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Aziz's wife, Samia, is a family physician in the community and has two daughters, Heba and Sophie. |
